Supply Showroom

Shop Spotlight

I always enjoy finding new shops that inspire new design ideas.

I was recently invited to a “pop-up shop” for the Austin-based Supply Showroom.

I was pleasantly surprised by their unique wallpapers and fabric designs.

Supply is located in a renovated 1930s bungalow on Lake Austin Blvd.

It was started by three former New Yorkers,  Kim West, Callie Jenschke and Kristin Gish who have a great eye for design.

Supply Showroom represents unique trade lines from around the world.

While visiting Austin, go by and see the girls.

You will be glad you did!

If Theses Walls Could Talk

Tricks of the Trade

I absolutely love wallpaper!

It adds an extra pizazz to any room.

I like to think of wallpaper as a piece of art.

I know it can be expensive, but there are several ways to use wallpaper that does not involve breaking the bank or papering the entire room.

I love seeing wallpaper used in bookshelves, on ceilings, framed or just accenting one wall.

There are so many great designs available, both old and new.

My L.A. Story

What We Love

I’m waking up on Sunset Boulevard…”

I recently visited Los Angeles with my eldest daughter. As you can imagine, We had so much fun!

We enjoyed eating at The Ivy, Nobu and our favorite, Mr. Chow.

We drove down Sunset Boulevard, shopped on Rodeo and even had a few “star sightings”.

But, the best part of the trip was staying at The Beverly Hills Hotel. (Sorry Leo)

The Beverly Hills Hotel is glamorous, stylish and is the true definition of Old Hollywood.

I could imagine Lucille Ball or Cary Grant enjoying breakfast at The Polo Lounge or relaxing by the pool.

The Dorchester has done an unbelievable  job renovating the hotel without jeopardizing it’s history or charm.

The “Pink Palace” is located on twelve acres in the center of Beverly Hills.

Over the past one hundred years, Hollywood stars have enjoyed the timeless glamour of this  exquisitely  maintained beauty.

The  iconic palms, exotic flowers and exceptional staff add to the resort-like feel of this historic hotel.

The Beverly Hills Hotel is the true star of Beverly Hills!
