Greenbrier B&A

Before & After

Greenbrier B&AHU Interiors DOES exteriors…

This house has long been one of my favorites! Somewhere along the way, it had lost it’s charm and needed a little tweaking to to bring back it’s timeless appeal.

During one of it’s renovations, it had aquired a courtyard with a fountain – which did not thrill the new owners because it blocked the house from the street. They soon realized, however, that the courtyard was really quite relaxing, especially in the evenings with a glass of wine.

A compromise was reached by cutting the eight foot wall down to four feet, which opened the house to the street and still allowed for privacy. The spanish style doors and fountain were changed for a cleaner, updated look. Also the landscaping was softened by taking out the desert plants and adding lush azaleas, hydrangeas and seasonal flowers. Lightening the paint color, adding a new gate and shingles also helped enhance the new personality of the home.

The house looks so much happier and ready to greet new guests.
